New Year, new hope-

During the last week of camp for 2017 I felt so inspired from witnessing firsthand the profound important impact of the Bridge Center.

These children get to be “normal” children during these days, and their parents had the comfort of knowing and also seeing this occur. Some children went sledding, others played sports in the gym and some enjoyed a “dramatic arts” activity on the Rudofsky Center stage. Without the one on one counselor ratio, the many safety measures that are taken to ensure our special campers are kept from harm’s way and the generosity of donors like you, none of this would be possible.

In the weeks ahead I would be grateful to have the opportunity to meet with our donors and volunteers to not only introduce myself but hear your valuable feedback about The Bridge Center. In particular I would like to know through your eyes and experience your ideas for conveying the significance of the Bridge Center’s programs, knowing that we are just one of so many worthy organizations vying for attention and support. Your perspective both as a longtime contributor and friend of the organization would be so very helpful to me. Please feel free to call me at 508 697 7557 Ext. 22, or email me at jelliott@thebridgectr.org

Until then, please know how grateful we are for your ongoing support and friendship.

Happy 2018 to you and yours!

Director of Mission Advancement

At The Bridge Center, no individual is ever turned away, whether they can afford to pay or not. Our innovative programs are designed to meet the social, emotional and physical goals of each individual participant. Our core values lie in the belief that all participants CAN PLAY, LEARN, AND GROW. Staff, volunteers, and parents have experienced many “firsts” … words spoken, true laughter and yes, even a child actually looking into the eyes of a loved one.

Your gift boosts the availability of The Bridge Centers programs that truly transform lives, for both the participant and their family.

  • A gift of $35 will enable a child to attend one “Social Adventure” class.
  • A gift of $55 will cover the cost of a THERAPEUTIC RIDING LESSON
  • A gift of $82 will pay for a session of “Tasty Thursdays”
  • A gift of $600 will enable a disadvantaged child to attend a week of SUMMER CAMP.

So please, give a gift that is as generous as you can afford.

Looking for the PERFECT holiday gift?

What do you give the person who has everything? Choosing a gift can be a daunting task, but when you make a gift to The Bridge Center in that person’s name, even the pickiest people on your shopping list will be brimming with joy!

For every gift of $30 or more we will send to the individual of your choice a lovely, engraved, glass snowman that is gift boxed along with a holiday card notifying them that a gift has been made to The Bridge Center from you in their honor.

Your generosity will enable The Bridge Center to provide more individuals the opportunity to experience our year-round recreational and therapeutic programs, whether they can afford to pay or not - bringing joyful memories that will last a lifetime.

If you would like to have a personalized snowman ornament sent to you, please email Jan Elliott at jelliott@thebridgecenter.org or call 508-697-7557.
My child loved camp, the kids, all the activities, and the staff. It was a great experience, and as usual, he ended the six weeks in great shape with his social skills.
